Valdene Mark
Valdene Mark is a Vincentian writer, an M.Ed. in Higher Education graduate, and the founder of Sugar Apple Books. Her first book, Jade Braves the Dark, follows main character Jade as she learns to use her imagination to conquer her nighttime fears. Valdene's stories, inspired by her childhood in the Caribbean, encourage children to use the power of imagination to navigate their feelings. Valdene now lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with her husband and two children.
Hayden Billingy
Hayden Billingy is a Vincentian Environmentalist, International Recording Artiste, Producer, Author, Actor, Philanthropist, and Entrepreneur. He holds a BSc. in Forest Engineering and MSc. in Natural Resource and Environmental Management with a specialization in Applied Meteorology. His first children’s book Flippity Floppity Wing is scheduled for publication in 2021.
Samantha Williams
Samantha V. Williams was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines where she still resides. She is a loving mother of two children, Kayla and Isaiah. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (hons) in Youth Development Work from The UWI. She is passionate about empowering others to become their best self and ensures that her books bring across a message of love, support and inspiration. Samantha is also a Co-Founder and Director of a charity organization in her native island Sharing Hands-Healing Hands Inc.
